Who performs a KONVOY Check?
All KONVOY Checks are performed by active, off-duty law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS professionals in Westchester County, NY. These are the same seasoned professionals you would trust in a crisis, arriving privately on your family’s behalf with a focus on empathy, respect, and safety. Every KONVOY Specialist undergoes a rigorous background check, vetting process, and training protocol. They arrive in their own vehicle wearing a blue KONVOY vest. They do not wear municipal uniforms or drive emergency vehicles, ensuring a completely discreet threshold visit at your loved one’s front door.
What information do I receive after a check?
You receive immediate clarity sent straight to your smartphone. Your responding Specialist documents the engagement via secure body-cam footage and a quick assessment, ensuring you get an eyes-on, real-time confirmation about your loved one’s status.
Are KONVOY Check bodycam videos private?
Our KONVOY Specialists wear a bodycam and record each KONVOY Check to enhance trust and accountability. The footage that results is 100% confidential and belongs exclusively to the account holder. You control sharing. The footage is stored securely in our AWS cloud and auto-deletes after 30 days.
How quickly will a first responder arrive to perform a check?
KONVOY is built for peace of mind during daytime hours when you can’t get to your loved one’s home yourself, such as when you’re at work or are out of town. Because we coordinate with active, local off-duty professionals throughout Westchester, a KONVOY Check can currently be scheduled and dispatched in a 2-hour window to close your “worry window” as quickly as possible.
What happens if my loved one doesn't answer the door?
Our specialists are trained professionals well-versed in situational assessment. They will attempt to make contact at the doorstep following our strict Observe, Support, Report protocol. If there is no response after 10 minutes, the Specialist will leave a custom door hanger to inform your loved one that you are trying to reach them, instructing them to call you as soon as possible.
Because you are in control, you can choose how we handle an unanswered door when scheduling your check. If you opt-in to emergency escalation, our Specialist will immediately call 911 on your behalf if they are unable to get a response at the door. If there are ever immediate, visible signs of distress or a situation requiring urgent care, our off-duty first responder will automatically activate local municipal 911 services and stay on-site to assist.

Do KONVOY Specialists enter the home?
A KONVOY Check is a threshold-only service. A Specialist will only enter the home at the direction of on-duty emergency personnel or if the Specialist observes a true emergency that requires immediate aid within the Specialist’s professional training.
Does my loved one need to sign up or download an app?
No. Only you (the account manager) need to create an account. Your loved one does not need any special technology, smartphones, or apps. KONVOY is a simple, threshold service performed by the best professionals out there—we bring the peace of mind directly to their door and your phone.
Is signing up free, and how much does a check cost?
Yes, creating an account and setting up your loved one’s profile is completely free. There are no monthly subscription fees or hidden costs. You only pay when you request a visit. A standard KONVOY Check is $100 + a service fee. If you request a 911 call in the event of no answer at the door, an additional $50 fee is applied to cover Specialist wait time and support during and after the 911 response.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Payments are processed via Stripe, which encrypts and secures your information.
Are KONVOY Checks covered by insurance?
No, KONVOY Checks are not currently covered by insurance.

What hours are KONVOY Checks available?
KONVOY Checks are available 365 days a year from 7 AM to 7 PM. You can schedule a check up to 7 days in advance, and our current response window is 2 hours.
