Why we Built KONVOY—the first Private wellness check

The day I lost touch with my Grandma

Something just felt off.

I quickly learned I only had two options: Worry and wait, or call 911.

I didn’t think the lights, sirens, and neighborhood drama of an emergency response was right for a simple wellness check—so I chose to worry and wait. The waiting was anxiety-ridden and awful.

I couldn’t believe that in this day and age, there was no way to send a trusted professional to simply knock on the door and check on my Grandma.

(PS: My Grandma had just forgotten to charge her phone.)

We needed a better way
